Chile Portrait Tour 2019
July and September-October
This year I’ll be in Santiago and Valdivia, taking a limited number of portraits.
I will be photographing 20 musicians only
(10 places remaining)
I am offering my Artists Package to my Chilean clients for about 25% of my New Zealand rates!
During this time we will take a complete portfolio of images.
These are customized to each client’s needs and usually include:
headshots
full length photos
and my signature ‘supernatural’ portraits
Theme:
You can suggest an idea or leave the creative process entirely to me. I will work with you to carefully plan your shoot over the next couple of months to ensure you get something dramatic and totally unique.
Makeup:
I have a world-class makeup artist who is keen to work with us. Her fee will vary depending on how complicated your shoot will be and is not included in the basic fee.

Dates:
I am available for six weeks from the 16th of September in Santiago or Valdivia (other cities upon request).

Each client will get one day with me. We will shoot from dawn to dusk, and sometimes into the night depending on the desired shots.
Backup dates:
I will secure two dates for you. One will be your primary shoot day, the second is a backup in case of rain or other problems.
I understand that orchestra schedules change and important gigs can arise at the last minute. If this happens I will try my best to move your shoot to a different day, but due to the busy shoot schedule this cannot be guaranteed.
Locations:
Chile has a large number of exciting shoot locations. Some are free (beaches, islands, parks, rooftops, some museums), others are private (studios, clubs, bars). The photo fee does not include venue hire, but I am happy to work with you to reduce or eliminate any cost involved. This may include licencing some photos for commercial use by the venues involved. In my experience this is beneficial to everyone and generates a lot of exposure.
If you want photos in your own theater (such as the Teatro del Lago or the Teatro Municipal de Santiago) I am happy to work with you to gain access. In previous instances I’ve been able to use these spaces for free, and with enough artists from each space I expect we can use them again.
Licencing:
You’ll receive a licence to use your photos in any way you wish. You will receive the highest resolution copies possible, and are free to use them digitally or in print. The sole restriction is that you can’t sell the images to a stock photo agency.
I reserve the right to use the photos to promote my own photography services, in gallery expositions of my work, and in competitions.
Price:
The cost of the shoot is CLP $250’000 for an individual or CLP $350’000 for a chamber group of up to four people.
This includes:
One day of photography
Approximately 5 days of editing
Assistant hire
Photographic equipment hire
Digital delivery
To secure your place a deposit of 50% is required by May 15. If you cancel this deposit is non-refundable.
The remainder of the fee is due on July the 1st.
The cost does not include makeup, location, or prop hire.
The Chile photo sessions require a large number of participants to go ahead. If the Chile photo sessions fail to go ahead in September due to insufficient numbers, or other problems from my end, we will try again in November. If both dates fail you will receive a full refund.
